Big Bats Café, Kent Island, Inc., established in 1997, by Stephen F. Garland as a casual themed restaurant where two of America's Greatest Pastimes, Baseball and Great Food, come together. 

 

Steve's love for baseball and great food gave birth to the idea many years prior to the Grand Opening on March 17, 1997 in Stevensville, MD.  Since its inception it has, and forever will, strive to be the local community's gathering place - a place to catch all of your favorite sports action!  Gather with your friends to watch the big game; talk about today’s heroes as they become tomorrow’s legends; or, just hang out with old friends as you make new ones.

 

Our mission is simple:  "to be the best in food, the best in beverage, the best in service, every guest, every time."  Big Bats Café has an extensive menu consisting of freshly prepared food coupled with legendary service.  Our restaurant provides a visually exciting environment with authentic baseball memorabilia including unique pictures, autographed baseballs and bats, signed jerseys; and, even the bar stools are made out of Rawlings bats and bases.  

 

The restaurant boasts numerous flat-screen televisions that enable our fans to enjoy a variety of sports programming.  The inter-active and entertainment elements of Big Bats Café contribute to our broad demographic appeal.  Big Bats Café generates strong lunch and dinner business while also capturing a solid after work and late night fan base.  We strive to anticipate our fans ever-evolving tastes by offering unique menu items as well as familiar favorites - known for our burgers and wings and a whole lot more.
